Today my aunt told about an amusing artist called Silbert Chaudanne. He is (my aunt believes that he still living today, though she's not sure about it) an french-born painter who mooved, at some point of his life, to Vitória. My aunt knew him in the university (she's an artist too). He were recognized by his bohemian life (it seens that he were alcohool adicted) and by his peculiar smell.
My aunt bought, many years ago and for a cheap price, an madonna performed by him in the early 90's. This paint still today in her house, and always caused an strong inpression on me, since I was a little child. Today I spent a long time looking that paint, after we talked about it. According to my aunt, Mr. Chaudanne painted a long series of maddonas by that time. He were deeply envolved in some kind of aesthetical and spiritual search for the holly grail while painting, and all these things happened quite before of the Da Vinci's Code.
